“Clandestino” is a song of the people and this video represents the hearts and spirits of all those in search of a better world. We began this Playing For Change version with an Oud master in Morocco and gypsies in Budapest and then layered in bass, percussion, strings and vocals from Manu Chao and friends until it formed into a Global Roots Reggae-Latin jam around the world. United people will find their way and music is our guide.

La princesa Turandot despreció a todos los hombres por el maltrato que recibió una de sus antecesoras y decidió que ningún hombre la poseería jamás y tomaría venganza de ellos mandándolos matar si querían conquistarla pero no lograban descifrar 3 acertijos. Un extranjero, Calaf (Plácido Domingo), lo logró. Pero como él no quería forzarla decidió darle la oportunidad de librarse del compromiso si averiguaba cuál era su nombre antes del amanecer. La princesa ordenó, bajo pena de muerte, que nadie en Pekin podría dormir hasta que se conociera el nombre del extranjero.

Supernatural es un álbum de estudio creado entre 1998 y 1999, lanzado al mercado el 15 de junio de 1999 por el guitarrista Carlos Santana. Las canciones en el álbum representan las emociones personales de un hombre por medio de diferentes ritmos musicales incluyendo entre ellos el cubano y el latino.
El álbum contó con la participación de varios artistas musicales como lo son: Dave Matthews, Everlast, Rob Thomas, Lauryn Hill, Cee-Lo, Maná, Eagle Eye Cherry y Eric Clapton. Con el tiempo la venta del álbum sobrepasó los 25 millones de copias a nivel mundial, ganó 15 veces el premio platino en los EE.UU., nueve premios Grammy y 3 premiosGrammy Latino.
Su canción “Smooth” fue la n°1 en el Billboard hot 100 durante 12 semanas y su canción “María María” duró 10 semanas.En la entrega 42° de los premios Grammy realizada el miércoles 23 de febrero del 2000. Carlos Santana ganó en nueve de las diez categorías en las que fue nominado. Finalizando el espectáculo Santana junto con Rob Thomas interpretó la canción smooth. Además en el año 2000, el 13 de septiembre en la primera entrega de los premios Grammy latinos ganó en las tres categorías a las cuales estaba nominado.
