Muppets Characters
Gonzo is a multi-talented artist who performs outrageous daredevil stunts. Though an odd looking creature, Gonzo takes pride in his uniqueness and enjoys every adventure he goes on with the Muppets including the occasional space voyage.
Rowlf the Dog is the Muppet’s resident piano player. One of the Muppets oldest characters, Rowlf rose to stardom by first plugging advertisements for his favorite dog-food brands on the original Muppets show. Rowlf the Dog is not the trusty Muppets sidekick always ready to help Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, and the rest of the Muppets.
Animal is the wild drummer for the almost-legendary band, Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem, who are the regular performers traveling with the Muppets. Animal is the official musical Muppet. Known for his outrageous style and unclear speaking voice, Animal is a crazed percussionist with three music style – loud, louder and loudest.
Pepe the King Prawn, lovingly known as Pepe, comes to the Muppets from Spain. Pepe moved to Hollywood to pursue his one true calling show business. Peep’s strong spanish accent makes it difficult for him to be understood.
Not one to leave the Muppet Lab too often, Beaker is the accident-prone assistant to Dr. Bunsen Honeydew. Though often difficult to understand, due to his “Meep”, Beaker is known among the Muppets as the one who always gets hurt.
When the Muppets made it big, they needed to hire a fool-proof security guard. Thus, Bobo the Bear became head of Muppets security.
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant Beaker are the resident scientists of the Muppets experimenting away in the Muppets Lab. Bunsen is always eager to show off his latest scientific discoveries to the Muppets.
Fozzie Bear is the world’s funniest—and only— stand-up comedy bear. From his beat-up hat to the “wocka wocka” that punctuates his punchlines, Fozzie is an “old school” comic. His jokes aren’t always great, but they are delivered with heart and Fozzie’s signature pazazz.
Miss Piggy is the ultimate diva, leading lady, fashion icon, star of stage, screen, and all media known and unknown in perpetuity throughout the universe. Miss Piggy has an appetite for the good things in life, including chocolate, jewelry, awards, and above all, her one true love, Kermit the Frog.
Kermit is the world’s most famous frog, but he has never let international success go to his head. Arguably one of Jim Henson’s most famous Muppet creations, Kermit the Frog has come a long way from his home, the swamp, to become one of TV’s most beloved characters.

En un ayuntamiento hay, por ejemplo, posiciones de aviación designadas por el gobernador, el diputado, el alcalde, el dirigente del partido y hasta de los secretarios más importantes del gabinete gubernamental; obviamente, hay secretarías donde también hay aviadores con posiciones designadas por el gober, el diputado, el secretario ¡Uf!
Es una práctica tan común que, muchos hay que prefieren tener una plaza de “avión” con su respectivo “moche” para el acomodador, que un puesto laboral aunque sea de conserje (sin denigrar a los conserjes), por eso, llama la atención que, citando las palabras del payaso criticón de la tele: “el que dicen que gobierna Veracruz” no se haya dado cuenta de que “había” tantos aviadores en la Secretaría de Educación de Veracruz.
¡Peor aún!¡Que le echen la culpa a un gobernante anterior! A sabiendas, por supuesto, de que estamos en plena efervescencia político electoral pretendiendo que el vulgo no se da cuenta, ni sabe las “jugadas” del equipo en turno ¿Acaso el que gobierna Veracruz – dicen – no se dio cuenta de que, cuando fue secretario de finanzas le “pagaba” a esos aviadores?
Citando a Zabludowsky: “el señor cree que todavía nos chupamos el dedo”. Lo que no es justo es que, en ese “afán” de “limpieza doméstica” para ahorrarse una lana y destinarla a la campaña a goberladrón ¡Perdón! Gobernador, ensucien la memoria de quienes dieron los mejores años de su vida trabajando en o para la dependencia o que en ese mismo afán, eliminen a trabajadores en activo con más de 10 años al servicio del Estado y/o la educación y pruebas ¡Las hay!
Como el tuit donde el titular del ejecutivo dice que, el caso de la señora de Orizaba que le reclamó por no resolver el caso de su hija y que dio origen al enésimo video viral del gobernante en turno donde dice que, el caso es muy delicado como para tratarlo en la banqueta ¡Chin! ¿Acaso tenía que hacer la crítica un payaso y decir que “le vale madre” al gobernador de Veracruz tal situación para que, la marioneta que dice gobernar la entidad, se diera cuenta que, la prensa no lo “maltrata”, él se maltrata solito y lo hacen circular en las redes sociales.

También abandonan al PRD los alcaldes de Las Choapas y Tuxtilla; se suman al PRI
Los alcaldes perredistas se sumaron así a Octavio Ruiz Barroso, alcalde de Alvarado, quien el domingo pasado anunció su salida del partido del sol azteca para incorporarse al PRI, a invitación de la nueva dirigencia estatal.
Estrada Montiel y Zamorano Pérez lograron sendos triunfos abanderando al PRD en 2013, sin embargo, decidieron abandonar el partido luego de señalar que la dirigencia perredista en Veracruz ha dado un cambio de rumbo sin consultar a las bases, ni a quienes los representan ante los veracruzanos.
Por separado, ambos munícipes coincidieron en que se trata de un momento de definiciones para el futuro de Veracruz, por lo que trabajarán a favor de un proyecto que reconozca los liderazgos regionales y no se reduzca al acuerdo interesado de las cúpulas.
Pobre política pobre
La apuesta de los gobiernos de ahora es la desinformación y la pobreza, sin visión moderna y democrática, sin contrapesos, sin rendición de cuentas, con personalísmo y con planes de grupo; no se les ve nivel de Estado, ni compromiso social y colectivo. Siguen la ruta de la regresión en todo, del inmovilismo, de la prioridad del negocio y los amigos. Sobre esas bases se establece la impunidad, la corrupción, la violencia y, lo peor, el enclaustramiento de la ciudadanía en el silencio, el miedo y hasta en la contaminación con los vicios del poder.
Significativos y preocupantes resultan los comentarios del Gobernador Duarte, en charla informal con periodistas que, en ejercicio de su trabajo, lo difunden ampliamente. Dice el gobernador que va a ganar las elecciones “llueva o truene”, que puede hablar como priista porque es sábado, que va a destruir a la oposición, que sus enemigos están afuera de su partido y que coloca al frente del PRI a un “guerrillero”, entre otras confesiones inauditas. Seguramente casi todos los gobernadores y el propio presidente Peña, piensan lo mismo, pero no lo dicen, son cuidadosos de las formas. Exponerlo así puede ser por euforia, sinceridad-ingenuidad o meramente como aviso al auditorio opositor.
Estamos ante un discurso pobre y premoderno, anacrónico y dinosaurio. Es el mensaje y las formas de los setentas, cuando se podían controlar todos los factores. Habla de una visión corta, que ya no aporta nada al desarrollo de Veracruz, que introduce inestabilidad y seguramente fracasará. Si en esa estrategia se alinean todos los dirigentes priistas, lo cual ya es dudoso, van a tener problemas con una sociedad más urbana, más joven y mas informada. Antes de proponerse mantener el poder a toda costa deben hacer el balance de su paso previo y actual en el gobierno de Veracruz, hacerse cargo de los indicadores sociales, de los niveles de inseguridad y, sobre todo, del desarrollo democrático .
Con la reprobación y alarma ante un discurso tan limitado, fuera de época, uno puede pensar que han perdido las proporciones de la realidad, que viven en una burbuja, que ya no tienen nada que aportar y que, con esos tonos agresivos y oscuros, se constituyen en un verdadero peligro para Veracruz, dado que se muestran intolerantes y, aparentemente, dispuestos a lo que sea, hasta a llegar a la violencia física, para sostenerse en el poder.
Creo que hay mucho de espejismo, extravío y soberbia en esas posturas de aparente hegemonismo y de manotazos en la mesa. Además de un obvio error de apreciaciones y cálculos. No entienden que hay muchos factores claves que no controlan, las variables que no están sujetas a consignas o buenos deseos. Me explico: Con todo y sus fallas hay partidos nacionales de oposición que no van a ceder su derecho a gobernar y que se van a defender con sus espacios de poder ante cualquier embate y ofensas; hay una oposición real a nivel local, no todo es membrete y palerismo; pero lo más importante es la voluntad y libertad de amplias franjas de veracruzanos que van a sufragar sin que haya manera de impedirlo o condicionarlo; si mucha gente, como es perfectamente posible, se decide a participar, polariza y suma voto útil, no habrá amenaza ni sueño guajiro que lo impida.
Desde el autoritarismo y las formas tradicionales del gobierno y la política siempre se ha pensado que controlan todo, que tiene la varita mágica para decidir resultados electorales, pero siempre se dan de frentazos con una realidad que les recuerda que no son genios, que también son humanos y totalmente falibles. Recuérdense las alternancias federales del 2000 y el 2006, las estales en muchas entidades y las municipales en Veracruz. Cuando arranquen las campañas y vean la respuesta de los ciudadanos tal vez se arrepientan de sus excesos y su anacronismo. Lamentablemente, no aprendieron nada positivo.
